2003 Kigurumi Chronicle

This volume records events, works and publications from this year. Announcements and completed events are identified separately.

Verifiable nodes

April: a specialist site enters its public update period

The log labels April 5 as the formal opening and then records link additions and early submissions; the main page instead labels April 23 as the start.12 This establishes a public space for bishoujo-kigurumi fantasy writing during the month, not a physical gathering, mask build, or performance on either date.

May-June: editorial and submitted work appears continuously

The log continues with original and submitted writing, columns, and link updates in May and June; June entries directly include story titles containing “kigurumi.”2 These notices show that a specialist writing and submission mechanism was operating. They remain evidence of early online publishing culture, not of story events having occurred in reality.

July-December: a visible update cadence continues

From July 5 through December 20, the log continues to record serials, submissions, columns, and link updates. Including April, the surviving 2003 log contains 27 dated notices.2 That count measures page-record density only; it is not a count of authors, readers, kigers, events, or works.
